Two years ago I created a little flower treat bag in honor of Okieladybug (Cricut MB). I was chosen as the Project Corner and Highlight in the Chrip, March 17, 2008 edition. Talk about excited!!! Anyway the thread keeps popping up and my link keeps expiring...so here is hoping that by putting it on my blog it will last longer! LOL!
It’s a Flower treat bag. I thought that these would be great for teachers or mothers day or just anytime that you want to give someone a little treat. The base is about 4 ¼ inches across…and it is in the shape of an octagon.
There are 2 seperate files, one for use with the Expression and one for use with the Baby Bug

About the cut file….
E bug file was created with George and Plantin Schoolbook.
Cutting and putting together with the E bug is pretty simple and once you have it all cut out it goes together in a snap. One note though…on the first tab the bottom triangle is slightly out of the cut line…so you will have to round that one off with your scissors. I tried moving it back but since you can’t group everything and move it a once I did not want to do it.
The Baby Bug file was created with ALL George. This one is a little more time consuming to put together but I did not want to leave anyone out! Hope that everyone who is interested in the file will be able to use it!!
Instructions to piece together for the baby bug:
1. First be sure to change the mat size from 12x12 to 6x12! If it is not already that way.
2. Cut tab #3 TWO times…this will become the “pedals” to the flower. You can either do them the same color or do 2 or more colors.
3. Tab #4 are the rings…that goes at the top of the treat bag…one is the flower and the other is the leaves.
4. Tab #5 This is the base to line everything up. I made 2 one to go on the bottom and the other to go on the top…so you are going to sandwich your “pedals” that you cut from tab #3 in between these two pieces. When you line up your “pedals” I put them under the top layer. You can mark a center point on the octagon base and center point of each of the pedals…or eye ball it...roughly 3 ½ inches from tip to where it needs to meet the base.
Hopefully these pictures will help
